Easy (and Quick!) Steps to Getting Your Badge

Registration: Quick steps to register

  1. Print out your final confirmation e-mail containing your barcode and bring it on-site to any of the many self-service pre-registration check-in kiosks. You may also type in your first and last name if you choose not to print your barcode.
  2. If you haven’t registered yet: You can still pre-register in your hotel room. REGISTER HERE.
  3. At the check-in kiosk: Scan your confirmation page or type in your first name and last name to confirm your registration.
  4. The kiosk will direct you to a counter number. Present your ID to staff at that counter and receive your badge, then go to the bag pickup area for the rest of your conference materials.
  5. You’re done!

Educational sessions: Important instructions to ensure you get in

  1. Name badges must be worn everywhere. Tickets are not required for any sessions, meals or events. Electronic scanners will confirm your registration for events based on your badge
  2. All attendees must pre-register with the online scheduler for all educational sessions to reserve a seat. GO TO THE SCHEDULER.
  3. If you haven’t already pre-registered for educational sessions, you’ll need your registration username and password to log in to the session scheduler.
  4. Over 100 self-service cyber kiosks will be available throughout the convention center to allow for immediate access if you want to change your session preferences.
  5. If a session is full, you can use the scheduler to add yourself to the waitlist. Attendees on the waitlist for a given session will be seated on a first come, first served basis beginning 10 minutes prior to when the session begins. Show up as early as possible!
  6. Be sure to show up to your confirmed sessions at least 10 minutes early, when unfilled seats will begin to be given to waitlisted attendees.
  7. The session scheduler is updated in real time. Log in throughout the day to view changes in status from “waitlist” to “confirmed.”
  8. Plan your entire Greenbuild schedule by adding in meetings and events, and then download your complete schedule to your PDA or Blackberry.
