How do I register?

Even if you are living outside of the United States you can register online normally. Once you have registered and paid the conference fees, an official letter of invitation for visa purposes will be mailed to you automatically.

Will I need a visa to attend?

Yes, some International attendees to Greenbuild will need to apply for a visa at their local U.S. Embassy, consulate or other visa-issuing office. To obtain a visa, you will need a valid passport, a letter of invitation, a photo ID, and a nonimmigrant visa application form.

If you are visiting from a country participating in the Visa Waiver Program and have a machine-readable passport, however, it may not be necessary to obtain a visa.

How can I improve my chances of getting a visa?

• Start your paperwork early.
• Include evidence of any previous trips you might have made to the U.S., proof of your intended return to your home country, and/or an offical letter of inviation.
